AlwaysOn 0 0 False Control4 certified on 11/26/2014 for software released versions: 2.6.0 Driver Version 1.0.1\n Instructions for setting up the NCZ-3045\n 1) Copy driver (MotionSensor_zb_nyce_3045.c4i) into My Documents/Control4/Drivers\n 2) Open Composer and search for driver in System Design screen by looking up manufacturer name: Nyce Control and/or Device Type: Motion Sensor. The model of the motion sensor is NCZ-3045. Double click on the driver to add it to the project.\n 3) In Connections screen under the Network tab, double click on the driver name to identify the device. When the identify window opens, follow the instructions to identify the device (4 button presses). If the device identifies successfully, its 64-bit (16-character) address should show up in the identify window text box.\n 4) In the System Design screen, select the Nyce Motion Sensor Driver. The Enrollment Status field in the Properties tab of a joined device should read: Successful Enroll. Note that it may take up to 20 seconds after a successful identify for this status to update.\n 5) If after more than 20 seconds, the Enrollment Status still reads: Unenrolled, execute a leave (6 button presses), and retry the join procedure.\n 6) After a successful enroll, Occupancy State and Battery State will continue to read: Unknown until the first sensor event. The first sensor event may not occur until the devices senses no motion for a period of time. The corresponding UI icon under the List View tab of the System Design window should also update each time the sensor transitions between occupied and unoccupied. Note that the device attributes will continue to read unknown, until they are set or read (see next section). The Attributes Status field will continue to read: Attributes are not up to date until a Read Attributes or Write Attributes (see below) is executed successfully.\n \n Reading and Writing Device Attributes:\n The NCZ-3045 has one attribute that can be read and written: \n Stop Motion Delay (minimum amount of time before an occupied state changes to unoccupied): the value entered must be between 4 and 65534 seconds.\n The attribute can be set in the Properties tab of the driver, but will only be written to the device after the device sends updated status to the driver. You can force the device to send a status message by pressing its button twice. The attribute will only be written if an acceptable value was entered.\n The attribute is automatically read from the device after it enrolls with the driver.\n The attribute read from the device will be displayed in the corresponding field of the driver Properties tab.\n The field labelled Occupancy Attributes Status provides information about the attributes. If the field reads: Attributes are up to date, it means the device attributes match those listed in the driver fields.\n The field labelled Occupancy State provides information regarding the occupancy status of the region monitored by the motion sensor. The Battery State field provides information regarding the status of the device battery.\n \n Release Notes for NCZ-3045 Version 1.0.1\n 1) A leave and restore to factory defaults is accomplished by 6 or 10 button presses and should be accompanied by a 'Disconnect' function within Composer.\n 2) Two button presses cause device to indicate network connectivity: -two GREEN flashes: joined to network -two RED flashes: not joined to a network -two ORANGE flashes: network or device issue, leave and retry join procedure\n 3) Other LED Functions: -Single GREEN flash: button press -Single ORANGE flash: unsupported number of button presses, no action -Three ORANGE flashes: device is busy, wait for LED feedback (up to 1 minute)\n 4) The device can rejoin the same network if moved to another channel.\n 5) The device will scan all ZigBee channels when joining a network.\n 6) If a device is reporting that it is joined to a network, but is not operating as expected, execute a leave (6 button presses), and retry the join procedure.\n 7) A Disconnect issued by the director must be accompanied by a Leave (6 button presses) on the device unless the device is awake to receive the directors Leave Request.\n 8) If a device is not responsive, first try power cycling the device by removing its battery momentarily. If the device does not recover, execute a factory restore (10 button presses).\n 9) On power up, sensor is disabled for 210 seconds\n Read Motion Sensor Attributes Read Attributes Write Motion Sensor Attributes Write Attributes Debug Mode LIST false Off Off Print Log Print and Log Sensor Status STRING true Offline Enrollment Status STRING true Unenrolled Stop Motion Delay LIST false 3 minutes 20 seconds 40 seconds 1 minute 3 minutes 5 minutes Custom (see below) Stop Motion Delay Custom STRING false Custom not selected Occupancy Attributes STRING true Attributes are not up to date Occupancy State STRING true Unknown Battery State STRING true Unknown Sensors 1 Battery Low When NAME battery is low 2 Trouble When NAME failure is imminent 3 Offline Warning When NAME has failed to report and gone offline 4 Back Online When NAME has reported again after going offline Control4 certified on 11/26/2014 for software released versions: 2.6.0
