The DIGI-44B can be controlled via IR, RS232 or Ethernet. This driver adds ethernet support to the Control4 controller for interfacing with the DIGI-44B. Connections: In the connections tab of Composer choose Network and select the DIGI-44B A/V Switch. Double click the address column for the DIGI-44B A/V Switch. Enter the IP address of the DIGI-44B A/V Switch into the Identify wizard and click Close. The IP address on the DIGI-44B may be set to DHCP or Static. Refer to the DIGI-44B manual at www.intelix.com. Also connect the desired HDMI inputs and outputs on the DIGI-44B. Actions: The Actions use the RS232 connection to setup the IP connection. The actions includes a "Get IP Address" command that can be helpful to find the DIGI-44B on the DHCP network. In order to use the commands in the Actions tab be sure to connect the RS232 from the Controller to the matrix in the connections window of the composer software and a physical connection between the Home Controller and the matrix. Use the Properties tab to enter a Static IP Address. Testing: The DIGI-44B Control4 driver can be tested by adding the driver to a project in the project window. Then make the connections and simulate the project. Properties: Static IP Address: You can set the matrix to a static IP address using the RS232 connection. Enter the IP address in the field. It must be formatted just like the example. Enter the IP address with spaces (no periods) and enter all three digits for each field. For example, if you must enter a 192.168.1.1 then type 192 space 168 space 001 space 001 "192 168 001 001". If it is not entered correctly the matrix IP address will be set to the wrong address. You can correct this by setting it back to DHCP in the Actions tab. Debug Mode - Allows the installer to monitor the interactions of the DIGI-SCAL-11X2 driver. -- "Off" will disable all debug information. -- "Print" will direct the debug information to display only in the Lua output window in Composer. -- "Log" will direct the debug information to the Error Log file. This setting is on a 15 minute timer. After 15 minutes debug is turned off automatically. -- "Print and Log" combines the above settings and sends the debug to both the Lua output window and the Error Log file. This setting is also on a 15 minute timer and will turn off automatically after 15 minutes. -- The default value of this property is "Off". www.intelix.com Get IP Address Get_IP Set IP to DHCP Set_IP_DHCP Get_Status Get the current routing of NAME Static IP Adress STRING false 192 168 001 111 Debug Mode LIST false Off Off Print Log Print and Log Audio/Video 1 Device_Type_Received Received a reply to the "Get Device Type" command. 2 Device_Status_Received Received a device status update message.
