B-500 HDMATRIX IP CONFIGURATION:
Set HDMATRIX Network settings:
1) Connect the HDMATRIX to the network via RJ45/CAT5 and to your computer via straight-through DB9/RS232 cable.
2) Run the HDMATRIX Configuration Utility software for your model of HDMATRIX.
3) Select the appropriate RS232 COM port and click on "Connect".
4) When connected click on "Network Configuration".
5) In the Device Setting window:
- Enter a static IP address for the HDMATRIX;
- Enter a network Mask of 255.255.255.0;
- Enter zeros ("0") in all fields for Gateway, DNS1 and DNS2 (e.g., "0.0.0.0");
- Click on "Write To Device";
- Wait 15 seconds, then click on "Read From Device";
- Verify the settings.
- If settings are not correct, repeat this entire step.
- If settings are correct, click on the Close widget in the upper right corner of the Device Setting window.
6) Disconnect the DB9/RS232 connection to the computer.
COMPOSER CONFIGURATION:
Enter IP Address of the receiver into Composer:
1) In the Composer/Items/Discovered column tab, double click the Binary B-500 HDMATRIX switch.
2) The driver will automatically be installed and should self configure..
3) Do NOT edit the IP Port, Username or Password fields.
4) Verify the HDMATRIX is connected to Director by reviewing the Composer/Properties/Properties tab "Driver Information" field.
- When properly configured and connected it should read "Switch found, firmware: " and the installed firmware version of the HDMATRIX.
CONTROL AND AUDIO/VIDEO CONNECTIONS:
1) In the Composer/Connections/ Control/AV tab, select the HDMATRIX and make all appropriate Input and Output connections.
