Check for the led on gateway device, to confirm the connection with Control4 system is up. Adding BPL 3Button Keypad device Go to System Design, search Device type:--others-- and Manufacturer:BPL. Configuration On the properties page of the BPL 3Button Keypad driver, 1. IEEE : Enter the IEEE number of the device. Adding the BPL 3Button Keypad device to Network 1. On the Actions page of gateway driver, click on Permit Join button. [This opens a 60 seconds window on the gateway, for devices to join.] 2. Press and Factory button on the device and insert the batteries. Factory reset on the device is indicated by the led flashing rapidly. Power cycle the device(remove and insert the batteries in) On successfull join, the properties page of the BPL 3Button Keypad will indicate the Network status as "Online".And the led on the device will be on. Binding the Switches 1. Bind switch1 : On the actions page, press button 'Bind Switch1'. On the device press the button once. 'Switch1 Bind Status' on the properties page will indicate 'Bind Success' or 'Bind Failure'. 2. Bind switch2 : On the actions page, press button 'Bind Switch2'. On the device press the button twice. 'Switch2 Bind Status' on the properties page will indicate 'Bind Success' or 'Bind Failure'. 3. Bind switch3 : On the actions page, press button 'Bind Switch3'. On the device press the button once. 'Switch3 Bind Status' on the properties page will indicate 'Bind Success' or 'Bind Failure'.
