By default they are configured to inputs 4 and 5. The driver is modeled to follow the manufactures default AM and FM inputs. This is why you will not see any connection for input 4 and 5. TUNER REGION PROPERTY Although there are 3 tuner regions defined by the ITU (International Telecommunication Union), there are 4 combinations of frequency steps. Frequency Step is the maximum bandwidth, in kilohertz (kHz), for a station in a given region. This driver uses a Property, "Tuner Frequency Step", to support each of these combinations. The property values are "FM50/AM9", "FM100/AM9", "FM100/AM10" and "FM200/AM10" which correspond to the AM and FM Band frequency steps used in the various regions. Here is a description of the regions and the frequency steps typically used. --"Region 1 (EMEA)". Region 1 comprises Europe, Africa, the Middle East west of the Persian Gulf including Iraq, the former Soviet Union and Mongolia. Typically, this region uses FM50/AM9. --"Region 2 (Americas)". Region 2 covers the Americas, Greenland and some of the eastern Pacific Islands. Typically, this region uses FM200/AM10. Some South American countries may use FM100/AM10. --"Region 3 (Japan)". Region 3 contains most of non-former-Soviet-Union Asia, east of and including Iran, and most of Oceania. Typically, this region uses FM100/AM9. HDMI OUTPUTS There are two HDMI outputs for the main zone only. ZONE 2 Within the Anthem MRX processors menu you have to assign what input you want to use for zone 2. CONTROL METHODS ============== This driver supports Network and Serial. When more than one control binding is made the driver will automatically select the active control binding in this priority order: -Network -Serial HARDWARE SETUP ============== SERIAL To Control with serial use a straight through serial cable. Baud Rate 115220 Data Bit 8 Parity None Stop Bit 1 Flow Control None NETWORK After Version 8 of the driver and firmware version 1.2.4 on the receiver. SDDP has been implemented. After adding the driver to the project using SDDP the first time you turn the receiver on using Control4 the driver will disable the ECO mode (network port stays on when receiver is off) and turn on the Tx status (allows receiver to report back its status). TIMER DELAY PROPERTY SETTINGS =============== A command timer marshals commands using the "Command Delay Milliseconds" to set the timer interval. The Command Delay Milliseconds value is simply the time elapsed between each command that is sent to the Anthem MRX processors. There is also a "Power On Delay Seconds" used to establish the amount of time that will elapse during the power-on sequence before the driver continues to issue commands. When using the Network Control Method, the "Polling Interval Seconds" value determines how often the driver will send a keep-alive query to the receiver. This query is useful in testing and maintaining a network connection. TROUBLESHOOTING =============== Tx Status: Starting with version 7 of the driver we have added the command upon power up to enable a setting called Tx Status. This allows the Anthem MRX processor to report back its status. Example volume level. If you are not getting two way feedback please enable this setting in the Anthem MRX processor menu. Setup, Network / Remote, Tx Status. RELEASE NOTES ============= Version 6 --fixed volume ramping issue where volume would ramp to max or min volume very quickly --added Volume Ramp Delay Property Version 7 --updated CONNECT_OUTPUT to enforce TX Status is set to ON --add "Connected To Network" property --fixed tuner feedback and direct station tuning Version 8 --updated CONNECT_OUTPUT to enforce ECO Status disabled when connected via network --changed documentation for SDDP implementation --Added logic to help with the receiver not turning on all the time when using serial Version 9 --Corrected the few volume pulses that were added the queue after you hold down the volume for more than 5 seconds.
