WATTBOX IP CONFIGURATION FOR CONTROL4:
Setup WATTBOX Network settings:
1) Connect the WATTBOX to the network via RJ45/CAT5.
2) Login to the WATTBOX and access the Setup/Network menu.
3) Setup a Static IP address:
- Enter desired addresses IP Address, Net Mask, Gateway and DNS.
- IP Address
- Subnet Mask
- Default Gateway
- Obtain an IP address - Set this to Manual
- Primary DNS Server IP
- Secondary DNS Server IP
- Obtain DNS Server - Set this to Manual
- Click "Apply" to confirm. The system will reboot
- Review the Network settings and verify all addresses are correct.
COMPOSER CONFIGURATION:
Enter IP Address of the WATTBOX into Composer:
1) In the Composer/System Design/System column tab, select the WATTBOX.
2) In the Composer/Properties/Properties tab, enter the static IP address of the WATTBOX in the IP Address field, then click on SET.
3) In the Username field, enter your Username (Default is *admin*), then click on SET.
4) In the Password field, enter your password (Default is *blank*), then click on SET.
NOTE: The Username and Password above are used only to allow Director to establish a network control session (much like RS232 or IR). This is not considered to be a secure function and does not require secure Usernames or Passwords.
5) Verify the WATTBOX is connected to Director by reviewing the Composer/Properties/Properties tab "Driver Information" field.
- When properly configured and connected it will read "Got status ok".
- When not properly connected, the "Driver Information" field will show Valid IP address (This doesn't mean it is connected)
6) If you have changed the HTTP Port in the WATTBOX configuration then you will need to set the "Port" field to the same as the WATTBOX.
CONTROL AND CONNECTIONS:
1) In the Composer/ Connections you will need to bind the outlet relays to Relay input Devices for operation.
