For Tuner Direct Tune functionality, the AM SET STATION macro will select Bank B, so all AM stations must be programming into Bank B (8 presets). The FM SET STATION macro will select Bank A, so all FM stations must be programming into Bank B (8 presets). Next the Station Frequencies must be edited in Composer Media to correspond with the appropriate Preset Number. For example, if 88.5 FM is programmed into Preset 1 in Bank A, then the Station Frequency must be edited to read 1 FM instead of 88.5 FM.

(Please note that not all Yamaha models support all device types mentioned here)For Director versions 1.3.1 and older: Since the integrated devices are actually audio devices but still have onscreen Video functionality, the Control 4 support is limited and may require additional programming steps to assist with system functionality and reduce questions and confusion:In Composer programming, Select the Room that will be used with the onscreen of the receiver. Next, select 'Program Room Events' for 'Audio selection changed'. Then, in Room Actions, select the same Room, select Conditionals, select 'Video device IS selected'. This will be a conditional statement, then in Commands choose 'select a Video device'. Now select the appropriate device to be used.This will allow the system to do a self check and select the appropriate device allowing the onscreen to be used for that device even if the device is selected from the Radio or Music menu on a navigator.
