The direct "Power ON" code is realized only in the special mode. In that mode, you can control the power directly instead of using the toggle control by using a "Power ON/OFF" toggle code as a "Power ON" direct code. That means there're two choices for the power control,a) In Nomal mode. Power ON/OFF(0xD1C2 as Toggle) & Power PFF(0xD1C0 as Direct) b) In Special mode Power ON(0xD1C2 as Direct, actually it was "Power ON/OFF" in nomal mode) & Power OFF(0xD1C0 as Direct) How to activate the special mode is as below.1.Get into the service menu by pushing ESCAPE, - , UP, +, DOWN , Escape buttons in order while the unit is turned on.2.Set "Require Host ACK" parameter from "0" to "1". (Do not change the other parameters.) 3.Exit the service menu and turn off the unit. (Power off is needed to re-boot the internal CPU) Note: If the unit is in "Special mode", the Power ON/OFF button on the remote does not work to turn it off. (Still the "STANBY/ON" on the panel does work.)
